Hi all,
It’s been a while since my last blog post here. A lot has happened in my private life recently, which has been quite emotional and heavy. As a result, I have unfortunately not been able to make many cards, let alone feel like posting anything. But I’m trying to get back on track and pick up the thread bit by bit. Meanwhile, I have also expanded my hobby room considerably and that too is taking shape. Perhaps I will devote another post to this in the future.
Some time ago, I made this card. I had just placed an order then and couldn’t wait to get started with this set ‘notes of nature bundle’. I have always loved ‘floral’ sets and this one is extra chic too. Still searching for how I wanted to design the card, I quickly decided to go for a neutral card, filled with green as a secondary colour. And for the WOW effect, I opted for gold as an accent colour, complemented by embellishments to make the card stand out more.
As you may have read here on my website, I recently re-joined as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. Simultaneously, I was also able to sign up to go to onStage again. That was a long time ago, and thought why not try and go again. So, I did!
I was therefore also getting used to making swaps again. For inspiration, I used the card shown above and an old swap from 11 years ago from my previous ‘upline’ Erna. Who once gave me a notebook holder. These two inspired the concept of my swap. It is a notebook holder in the same style as the card, which you can open and close, using a magnet. I made 50 in total. Which was quite a bit of work.
In the end, I didn’t even trade all my swaps and still have a few left. So who knows, I might still be able to make people in my personal circle happy with them.
But the swaps I received back were incredibly fun and inspiring, so if you are reading this: thank you for swapping with me <3
Should you have come here and swapped with me. Please leave a message, I think that would be very nice!
Hope to see you next time!

Love your swap! Unfortunatly I missed you at Onstage. I’ve used the same bundle for my swap.
